Sweet Little Leni...

A few weekends ago I had the privilege of shooting this sweet baby girl.  Daughter of my good friends Brooke and Trey.  Given the beautiful name "Madeline Elizabeth," I have no doubt she will live up to the beauty of her name both inside and out!! If you knew her parents you would understand why her destiny is inevitable :)  B + T are one of those couples that everyone just loves to be around.  Like, really.  I was at dinner last week with an old friend and his new flame and we were playing the "do you know game" ---- when B + T came up she lit up...."Oh i just LOVE them.  Like really....they are the most fun."  I feel like that is the same reaction everyone has about these two.  And for good reason.  They are just a couple of laid back, cool, funny, fun people.  I said this in one of the cards I gave them, but Leni is one lucky little girl to be born to them.  I mean, they will really make the best parents.  And after meeting her, I can see how lucky they are to have had her...she is purrrrfect!!

Only 9 days young during our shoot and what a champ she was!!  You are a star sweet girl :)

        

2010 Year in Review Part I

So....2010 was a BIG year!!!  I would have to start with what was the very best part of last year...which was that on May 1st of 2010, I said "I do" to my best friend (and now husband!) Eric :)  Those of you that know us, know that Eric and I went to college together at the University of Missouri-Columbia...we were friends throughout college and after, and didn't get involved (romantically) until May of 2005.  We had the wedding of our dreams!!! On the beach, a bit smaller (lol...at least as compared to if we would have had it up North).  Still over 100 people traveled down to Rosemary Beach, FL to share in our special weekend...we felt so blessed  to have so many friends and family come down!  Rosemary Beach is such a fabulous little seaside village.  The day was absolutely perfect...and the reception was a PAR-TAY, which was exactly what we wanted...a fun and magical evening to celebrate our first moments as man & wife!  I think the pictures tell the story...

So that was the most important day...next up...the shooting that kept me quite busy this year!

Such a Tease

Did I say I was going to look back at some of last year's shoots? Oh yes, I believe I did.  Please be patient with me...I'm working on it!  Good news is...the website is officially published!!
