In June of this year Stef and Brian will be saying "I do" in Keystone, CO.  We spent an afternoon in downtown Breckenridge and a nearby park doing an engagement session.  In just a few short months we will all be headed back for the big day....!!

It was bright and sunny but a reeeaaaalllly chilly day.  But that didn't stop us from having a great time up in the mountains.  Remind me again why I live in flat Illinois??

Engagement Session: Amanda & Nick

CHICAGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Meet Amanda & Nick...They are getting married downtown next July, and last weekend we got together to snap some engagement photos.  Amanda and Nick---you are such a gorgeous couple!  Thanks for braving the cold and the pending rain :)  Special thanks to Amanda and Nick's wedding planner, the fabulous Heather Meibach of Heather Ever Present  who helped out during the shoot, as well as Ashley Condron for hair and Rachel Reiman for makeup!  

Down in the Dominican

Last month we had the pleasure of heading down to Punta Cana to share in the wedding weekend of our dear friends Shannon & Wendell.  I have always been a fan of destination weddings (had one myself I'm such a fan!!)  Is there anything more fun that having all of your close friends and family together for a little mini vacation...and oh by the way a wedding to boot??! I think not.  Shannon & Wendell's was no exception.  I think I can safely speak for every person that went down when I say we all had an amazing time!  Some shots from our time down in PC, starting with a few engagement pics...

Windy City Engagement: Mo & Tyler

Last week I had the privilege of taking Mo & Tyler's engagement photos.  These two kept Eric and I completely entertained the entire shoot...as any of you who know these two know they are totally capable of :)  I love getting to have fun with clients!

HEAVAN

Naperville Engagement Photographer

A few weeks ago I met up with Heather & Evan (short for...you guessed it...HEAVAN) in Downtown Naperville for their engagement session.  Let me first say I understand where "Heavan" came from...their names, much like them, fit together so well that it's actually difficult to say them together without combining them!  By the end of our shoot I gave up and think I may have actually just been referring to them as Heavan (seriously...try to say "Heather" then "Evan" quickly one after another...it's TOUGH).

I suggested Evan climb the gi-normous tree (I was kidding).  Buuut as you can see...he took me seriously! Thank goodness Heather was there to help...I mean this was a BIG tree.  Evan I'm still impressed you had the 'ups' to get in that thing.

These two really have fun together. I love that.  At one point they were having so much fun that they had me laughing so hard my eyes were watering.  It is difficult to focus properly when your eyes are watery! Honest to god this was the first time I've ever asked a client(s) to stop making me laugh because it's hard to shoot when my eyes are watering!

Heather & Evan your big day is just around the corner...so I'll be seeing you all very soon!  Holla!
